I have been a fan of the renowned Australian Interior designer, Tamsin Johnson since I stumbled upon her work during my interior design studies in Sydney. The moment I saw her breathtaking Palm Beach project I knew I needed to share it. Johnson possesses an extraordinary talent for seamlessly blending vintage treasures and elements sourced from various corners of the globe, as evidenced by this stunning coastal home in the heart of Palm beach, New South Wales Australia.
Palm Beach is a coastal retreat about an hour from Sydney and provides a tranquil escape from city life. It's definitely worth checking out if you are ever in Sydney. (I highly recommend dining at one of the Boathouse Groups locations there: Barrenjoey House, Patonga Kiosk.)
Nestled along the coast, this charming home has six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and three kitchens, making it the perfect haven for large families and groups of friends seeking a holiday getaway. Johnson has skillfully crafted a home that pays tribute to the joy of travel and the discovery of unique treasures along the way.
The thoughtful use of organic materials like timber, rattan, and stone gives the space a relaxed and cozy ambiance, while carefully curated custom furniture, artwork, and lighting elevate the overall aesthetic. Drawing inspiration from its enviable location, the Palm Beach residence captures the colors of the coastal landscape, resulting in a welcoming retreat for their guests to unwind.
There is so much more I could on about this lovely seaside home but I think I will just let the pictures speak for themselves...
